Goregring project created in 2006, a full album was home made and 2 shows were played only, and on the Gold Coast where the band is originally from
A BRIEF BIO OF BLOODBOMB AND NOTE FOR THE GOREGRIND FANS OUT THERE:
BLOODBOMB was originally a solo project from the Gold Coast, created by Rob in 2006 and later on joined by Sabz. Rob would write the songs and Sabz would add the samples and take over the vocal duties.
Vocal wise, Sabz never used a pitch shifter while recording or for the live performances. The only song with vocal effects is "Porkin' Morkombe", recorded in totality by Rob. A total of over 30 songs were recorded and never released. BLOODBOMB only played two live gigs, both on the Gold Coast. Tom took over the bass duties for both gigs.
Lyrically, BLOODBOMB has no taboos as we aim to be the bad guys in the GoreGrind industry, some representation of what is wrong with humanity or anything we find funny. Some butthurts may get offended by the samples or song themes, such is life and they can suck themselves off for we could not care less.
We are currently writing a third album, and the good part is that everything has been released digitally for you to enjoy, and all that free of charge, as we are not after profit but just after doing what we love, which is writing filthy GoreGrind tunes.
BLOODBOMB may eventually reunite at some point and play some live gigs in the future, but for the moment we are happy to remain as a studio project. Thanks and enjoy.
