| The band was founded in early 93 by Michael Nicklasson-guitar, Wojtek Lisicki-guitar and vocals and Peter Weiner-drums. Shortly after bass player Martin Furangen joined the formation. In the middle of 93, LUCIFERION entered the Starec Studio in Fredman;, Sweden, and released a promo tape via LISTENABLE for promotional purposes. The rest of the year was spent playing some virgin, still packed-out, shows in Gothenburg area, one of the more memorable with DISSECTION and MARDUK. In February 94 LUCIFERION began the recording session of their debut album in Studio Fredman in Gothenburg. That was one of the very first recordings in this nowadays famous studio of Fredrik Nordstrom. After an extremely demanding recording session, the praiseworthy dark creation ‘Demonication (The Manifest)’ was completed. The album also features a hateful rendition of the definite black/death metal anthem ‘Blasphemer’ of SODOM, which sounds even more twisted than the original version. After the recording, the drummer Peter Weiner left the band. Only one inhuman skin beater could take the vacant seat. It was Hans Nilsson, the former drummer of the insane act LIERS IN WAIT (built on the legendary GROTESQUE), now also in DIABOLIQUE. Also, another musician joined the band. Johan Lund, originally responsible for the technical part behind synthesizers on the album, became now the live keyboard player of the band. ‘Demonication (The Manifest)’ has drawn massive interest since its release date in 1996. A great deal of fans have shown indisputable passion for the band and their debut album while eagerly awaiting for the following one for the past 7 years ! During the band’s lengthy break some members became highly active in some well know Gothenburg bands; Michael Nicklasson joined DARK TRANQUILLITY and Wojtek Lisicki together with Martin Furangen revived their old true metal act Highlander, these days know as LOST HORIZON. Now, the wait is over! The magic is back! The Apostate is here! LUCIFERION sounds now stronger than ever. It has grown into a relentless power machine that bolts everything in its path by a tornado of pure force! The band’s music remains an implacable blend of wicked melodies, top notch execution and hyper speed aggression, delivering an intense and deep lyrical concept. Inventive musicianship permeates through their complex and fresh death metal style. Pure magic! UNIQUE in the genre, LUCIFERION will no doubt grab the masses of fans in their hands again. |

очень неплохой в прошлом шведский сатаник дэт метал бэнд, дебютник очень яркий, скоростной и даже казалось бы клавишные не мешают, а только добавляют бласфемичности релизу. второй альбом слушал вскользь, неплохо, но до высот дебютника как мне показалось уже не дотягивает

второй альбом я разок послушал, да забыл 
меня это вполне устраивало! 
вот тексты на альбомы действительно крутанские, никакая-нибудь антихристианская лабуда, а реально бласфомичные гимны
