Komatoz was formed in autumn,2000 by Andrey"Khotabich"-vocal,Nick-guitar,Alexey"Ryzhiy"-bass, and Victor-drums. In 2001 Andrey "Khotabich" left the band.NicK became a vocalist too. The tragedy happend in summer 2002.Nick and his girlfriend Nastia died in a car crash.Guys, we will always remember you.Because of that the band didn't play during 1,5 year. But then the band decided to start again: Alexey"Ryzhiy"-bass,vocal,Tolik-guitar,Victor-drums.They recorded some of their old songs. In 2004 the band changes again: Alexey"Ryzhiy"-vocal,Tolik-guitar,drummer Andrey"Khotabich" came back, Alexander-bass & back-vocal joined. In 2004 Komatoz released their first album"Hatred" recorded at Total Punk Records. In autumn,2004 Andrey"Khotabich" was replaced by drummer Sasha"Britva".During 2004 and 2005 lots of concerts were played in St.-Petersburg and other cities of the country. Split with the punk band "Distress" was recorded by Total Punk Records in 2005. During 2005 and 2006 the band was playing concerts went to Finland tour and played a concert with drummer Oleg from "Engage at will" in a Puntala-rock fest. In summer 2006 guitarist Nick joined the band.Then in spring 2007 Alexander left the band, and Gosha joined.Now Komatoz are: Alexey"Ryzhiy"-vocal,Gosha-bass,Nick-guitar,Sasha"-drums. In spring,2007 the band began to work on a new album, which, we hope to release in autumn,2007. In the begining of 2008 there have been some changes in the band. Now Komatoz are: Alexey"Ryzhiy"-vocal, Kolya-guitar,back voc, Alex"Sexy Boy"-drums,back voc, Rumba-bass. New album is coming soon! Two tracks are on MySpace. The band is preparing for the great sumeer tour in Europe!
