Биография:
Formed in the spring of 2010 between guitarist, Richard LeBlanc and vocalist, Darryl Bedard, the band was initially started as an online project, a way for the two to write music while living on opposite sides of Canada.
The name Mulletcorpse was given. A little bit of comedic relief for such a serious sound, putting a smile on ones face and maybe a little bit of confusion to what it actually means.
In the summer of 2011, the two eventually got to the point where online wasn't cutting it any longer. This is when well-seasoned drummer, Jason Longo(ex-Blood of Christ) was added into the mix. After writing music for some weeks, it was decided that a second guitarist and bassist would be necessary as the music that was being written at a speed only matched by the tempo of the songs. Guitarist, Andre Fetchison and bassist, Mark Chandler(ex-Orchidectomy) were added into the mix to fully round out the band. Giving Mulletcorpse the crushingly-thick sound you hear today.
Since playing numerous live shows with notable acts and releasing a debut full-length album, Mulletcorpse has proven their musical capabilities and has definitely made their presence known. Enough to win them a Jack Richardson Music Award for, "Best Metal Band" and sign a World-wide distribution deal with CDN Records (Century Media, The End, Relapse Records) in 2013.
