Sons of Chaos is an X-treme Metal band based in the Bay Area, Northern California. Sons of Chaos has spent over half of a decade building a fan base and promoting their own releases. Sons of Chaos have spent the last year touring the entire West Coast and Southwestern United States for their current album Dawn of the Apocalypse. The band is currently writing for the next release. Sons of Chaos was formed in 1994 in Vacaville, CA. There wasn't much of a music scene in Vacaville, so the band started out playing Backyard party's and small bars with fellow Vacaville bands that were of a different genre. Sons of Chaos changed their line-up and decided to concentrate on other areas outside of the home town. Sons of Chaos recorded their first demo in 1995. It was titled Book of Lies and was released independently on cassette. The band sold a few hundred copies locally and soon began playing clubs in the larger cities. In 1996 the band started recording their first full length release that was titled Hung from a black sky but problems with the producer and budgeting prevented it's release. In 1997 Paul Suchoski joined the band and within one year the band recorded and released their second demo release titled Prophecies for the Flesh. The songs on this release concentrated on topics like false prophets, and manipulating the human mind. The demo did very well selling all over the U.S., Canada, and Eastern Europe. This demo was again released on cassette and was independently produced. The band started playing shows with veteran bands like Malevolent Creation, Broken Hope, and other bigger name acts. The year 2000 brought the release of the debut self released album "Dawn of the Apocalypse", but this was the last release for Guitarist Nathan Breeding, as he left the band shortly after the recording due to family and personal obligations. Long time friend and roadie for the band Greg Navarro joined the band officially three days before a series of shows with Disgorge, and six weeks before the first tour. Since that time, Sons of Chaos has sold hundreds of CD's, played with more headliners such as Deeds of Flesh, Angel Corpse, Krisiun, Incantation and others. They have toured regionally five times, and have built up their international audience as well. Sons of Chaos plan to tour internationally for their new CD "Redwork", and show the world from where Chaos originates. Look for them in your area soon.

Отличная банда сатанико-олдскульной разновидности. Оба альбома - злейшее зло. Ближайшая, хоть и не идеальная аналогия - ощутимо обруталившийся Vital Remains, без лирических соляков, разумеется.:vo:  Дебютник так ещё и очень по Immolation-овски начинается, но как-то быстро с этим завязывает.
