In 2007 and 2008 I played Central Illinois Metalfest, and I befriended Eli from Relapse records, who was floored by mine and Shaun from Putrid Pile's performances at CIM. So he came to me at proposed a killer idea, a split one man band cd to be released by… relapse in a limited fashion, and he wanted Insidious Decrepancy and Putrid Pile to be on this split. Well, Of course Shaun and I jumped at this HUGE FUCKING OPPURTUNITY for us and our music. Now, In my contract i signed in 07 for 2 cds with Brutal Bands, it states that any outside label interest in Insidious for licensing of shirts, or ANYTHING, would have to go through brutal bands, ya know, so scott could cash in on it, like he did licensing Devourment shirts to relapse in the past. Now, when relapse came to Scott, they probably had a level of arrogence and threw around their weight of being one of the 6 major metal labels out there, and Scott's ego didn't like that, NO SIR. So relapse offered Shaun and I 70 cds each for the deal, and we agreed, and Scott asked for the same from Relapse to give permission for Insidious to be on the split, and for whatever reason, Relapse said no. So, in turn, Scott didn't give permission for Insidious and I got an email from relapse saying this isn't gonna happen. NOW, I UNDERSTAND WHERE SCOTT IS COMING FROM ON ALL THIS, he told me they came at him acting cocky, and he didn't buy into it, and he didn't give them permission on principle. OK, THAT'S FINE AND DANDY, BUT............... doing so almost cost pile and I both a HUGE OPPURTUNITY, and when I asked Scott if he could just give permission cause ya know, I saw this as my big break, HE SAID: I DON'T THINK RELAPSE IS THAT BIG OF A LABEL. ok now, WHAT COLOR IS THE SKY IN HIS WORLD?????? dude, give me a fucking break, if it wasnt for me BEGGING Eli to let the split still happen with Viral Load cause Barrett's not a dick and would give both band permission cause he sees the awesome BREAK for me and shaun, the split would've never happened, therefore closing a door of oppurtunity not on just me, but shaun as well, and for what, SO SCOTT COULD PROVE HE'S NOT GONNA BE PUSHED AROUND??? fuck that, HE HELD ME BACK, period. Ask Shaun from Putrid Pile and he will tell you the same, and he's a real dude who is straight up about shit, so yea, ask Pile about this.

то есть в скором времени надо ждать "реюнион", когда бедняга Шон подостынет от наплывших чувств обиды

Заебал этот нытик. Я от него отписался даже на фэйспуке, потому что 50% ленты было его высерами забито. Вчера он писал, что лонг лив брутал бэндс. Как девочка с мальчиком статусами переписываются.

Press release regarding Insidious Decrepancy OK, I really hate to do this but I can't have a band under contract with us repeatedly posting false information about this label and it's relationship with Insidious Decrepancy. Some may have seen the repeated posts on the Insidious Decrepancy page about how the band is breaking up because he has not received the support from this label that he should have. The truth is Brutal Bands has honored it's contract with Insidious Decrepancy 100%. In addition put out a DVD which wasn't part of the contract, done multiple layouts for the band, fronted CDs which to this day we have not been paid back on. Brutal Bands has also always been to there to purchase tons of merch wholesale from Insidious Decrepancy at fests and over email. Bottom line, Brutal Bands has not only fullfilled it's contract with Insidious Decrepancy, but has gone above and beyond for the band. What has prompted this huge uproar is that Shawn of Insidious Decrepancy wanted Brutal Bands to provide him with recording money that he openingly admitted in an email that he intended to use to pay his personal bills with. This is not allowed according to our contract and it's just immoral. His entire behavior on this is shocking and devastating to me on a personal level. I've tried to contact him repeatedly, but get no real response. I'm sorry, but we're here to support our bands, not pay their personal bills for them. It's a shame that this has prompted the band breaking up and scarred relations between band, label, and friendship. Even after all that has gone down, our door will always remain open for Insidious Decrepancy to get that highly anticipated new full length out under Brutal Bands. I know Shawn will read this, and I really hope he reconsiders. Scott/BB

Short story - Shawn was supposed to enter the studio in August.  We were fully prepared to reserve the studio time for him, just needed contact info to get the money to the studio.  Later he tells me he actually wanted the studio money to use it to pay off some of his own debts/bills.  Not good.

Зловещая плюха.  

Лично я отписался от него на Фейсбуке сразу после того, как он похвалился оптовой закупкой ништяка Pyogenesis "Unpop" в количестве 10 штук (типа один для себя, остальное на подарки корешам) на распродаже в е-маркете Нуклеар Бласт по цене 1 доллар за каждый серебристый кругляш (при покупке от 10 шт - пересылка бесплатно). Ну не пидор ли...
