Members Brian and Grant Mohler have been playing brutal music seriously since 97 under several names. The name Artery Eruption was thought up by Brian in April 2002. Along with these brothers in the original line up were ex bassist/gurgler and lifetime best friend Miguel Macias. The summer of 99 brung guitarist and longtime best friend Brandon Pratt. We recorded our first demo that summer titled 'Tortured' that consisted of 10 tracks and was under another band name. We also recorded another 10 song demo later that year titled 'Fear Unknown' and took 5 of those songs for our first studio effort titled 'In Our Human Meatlocker' in the summer of 2000. Summer 2001, we returned to the studio for 9 new songs. (The last 5 tracks appeared as tracks 7-11 on our Spewage cd.) Summer 2002, we returned to the studio for 6 new songs without Brandon in the line-up due to his monthly disapearance brought upon by carbon monoxide poisoning. (These songs appear as the first half of the Spewage cdreleased on Sevared.) Brandon came back for the first official Artery Eruption release on a label (Sevared records) titles 'Reduced to a limbless sex slave' recorded in Brian's bedroom and released in 2003. Since Artery Eruption's recording history began even in the demo tape stages, the line up had always been Brian drums/vocals, Miguel bass/vocals, Brandon guitars and Grant guitars/backing vocals. For a short moment we were a 5 peice when Drummer Darren Williams came into the band durring the time of the recording for 'Reduced...' (Darren appears on track 3 of 'Reduced'
but soon after the recording Miguel left due to his schooling, and 3 jobs. Brian moved to bass/vocals for a short time, until the final decision being that Grant would move to bass and Brian would move to guitar to move things quickly since Brian was writing most of the material. We recorded our split cd with Mangled Atrocity in 2004 to once again be released on Sevared. We recorded 3 new songs, re-recorded a song taken from our 1st release, and covered 'Choking On Bile' from the band everyone knows to have made the most brutal music ever~ DEVOURMENT. These new songs showcased a more technical ability on all aspects and furthermore showcased some of the sickest drumming ever recorded along with the unreal vocals you've all come to love. (with suprise guest dual vocal onslaught on 'Choking...' courtesy of Miguel Macias.) The line-up has once again changed due to Brandon's conflicting schedule. Artery Eruption now stands strong and tightly molded as a 3 peice and is completing material for a 9 song release of the most insane brutal shit out on UNITED GUTTURAL RECORDS!!!! ( Участники
